ABOUT OUR LIVE WEEKLY JAM SESSIONS
Where the magic happens...
Get your child's jam space set up just right... all instruments, smoke machines and coloured lighting welcome!
Our live interactive "weekly online jam sessions" create an incredible environment for kids to come together and play all the music they love as they use their newly acquired skills learnt in their lessons.
Led in real-time by our instructors online every Thursday at 5 pm during each school term, these unique jam sessions are the highlight of the week for many of our students (and for the parents because they get 30 minutes to themselves!).
Our students get to choose which songs we play, and we play all the latest hit songs by the artists they love (as well as some classic hits). All this whilst connecting with other like-minded musical kids in the safety and comfort of their own home.
All levels of participation are welcome, as students may vary in their level of involvement depending on their mood on the day. This is nurtured and celebrated.

JAM SESSIONS
Participants are encouraged to join jam sessions regardless of skill level or instrument access.
Whether using their voices, clapping hands, or playing instruments, these sessions develop gross and fine motor skills, independence, muscle memory, and self-confidence.
It doesn't matter if you bring your drum, guitar or piano, these interactive jam sessions are an amazing opportunity to simply play, be in the moment and have heaps of fun.
This is a great way to keep kids motivated and inspired to keep playing week after week.

These interactive sessions are often the icing on the cake, inspiring people to thrive in their AMAUS programs and continue to show up and play more music, while also developing confidence and self-belief along the way.

Each week’s live jam sessions are recorded in 4K high-definition quality, often with multiple camera angles to provide the best user experience.
It's always best to attend the online jam sessions when possible; however, every live jam session is uploaded to our private AMSA Online Folder after each session, allowing you to easily watch it at your own convenience if you ever miss a session.
Kids also often love to do the weekly jams again and again throughout the week, so it is very handy for parents to have access to this.
It's another healthy way to keep kids busy and have fun playing music.
